The Hispanic Seat Belt Initiative’s overall goal and objective is to develop, implement and evaluate a community-integrated, family-focused campaign that is bilingual, administered by Hispanic professionals and lay personnel, and delivered to change restraint behavior from pregnancy through adulthood. High visibility law enforcement, coupled with centralized safety equipment distribution are the cornerstones of the program. |
